Important Message From SIBL League President:

4/4/20

Hello SIBL Families,

We want to update you on the status of our Spring 2020 season, as many of you are aware the "Stay Home' order is still in effect across the state. I know many of you have growing concerns on whether or not the 2020 Spring season will be played, the same concerns run thru our minds as well. We continue constant communication with Pony Baseball and USA Softball, both governing boards are stating that we stay in compliance with government orders. They are definitely in favor of the kids having a spring season and want them to play ball, it's just a matter of time when that will happen. We are also aware that many families may be financially, physically, and mentally impacted by this pandemic causing them to be disengaged with baseball/softball. We truly empathize with you, these are definitely trying times for many and we need to remain positive and know brighter days are ahead.

We are in a position where we can only control what we can, at this point the health and safety of all our families is important, without ALL of you, there is no SIBL. Our fields and facilities are continuing to get the upkeep they need to remain playable and safe for our children when we get the clearance to resume play. We want to "THANK" those individuals for their countless hours and determination. I am confident that with all of us working together we will make it through this crisis and emerge stronger than ever. We 'Thank You" for your understanding and your commitment in these unprecedented times.

Please continue to stay safe and healthy.

Best regards,

Bobby Ordoña

SIBL President
